Jan giggled with delight when Evaan picked her up, beaming as she was set back down. "I look great?" she smiled and did a silly pose. "You look great! But I've never seen you in a state when you didn't." She winked at her friend, linking her arm with hers as they made their way down the street. It was reassuring that she had a friend like Evaan, someone she could lean on and was constant. She dreaded the thought of her disappearing, but she pushed it from her mind. It was better to not think those thoughts anymore. She didn't like being depressed and was resolved to keep moving forward. She knew Evaan had been close friends with them too, so she was having just as hard a time as she was. She began to feel guilty for not staying in close contact with Evaan through the holidays.
"Busy is an understatement!" She laughed, shaking her head. "But I was able to finally pull myself out from all the spools of cloth and become social again!" She glanced at her friend, her smile dimming a bit. "I'm sorry I sort of disappeared during the holiday. I know that the disappearances were hard for you too." She gave Evaan's arm a squeeze, looking up at her.
"But! The Star team is back together and that's what matters now, right?" She grinned, a spring in her step as they made their way past various shops downtown. "Really, other than work, I've just been trying to get back into the swing of things! Lots of new people here, even new places! I feel very behind the times and that's soooo unlike me!" She giggled.
"What about you Stardust? What have you been up to?"
