To say he was nervous was an understatement of the year. Izuku Midoriya was going on his first date. It was all he could do to keep his palms from sweating. He had borrowed Kachan's suit and was fidgeting in it left and right, unsure and uncertain about what in the world he was doing now. But, he knew one thing: he had picked out a good place for them to go. Since day one, Uraraka had always been there, supporting him and being there with him every step of their journey together. It only made sense that she was here now with him. That she was his first date.
And, maybe, his first kiss, if everything went well. Todoroki had suggested to maybe kiss her at the end of the date, so he was going to. He didn't know what his other friends were doing right now, but all he did know was that he was doing this. He was going to date the girl he constantly blushed around, the first girl he wanted to talk to and think about.
He was in the side room, dressed in a full black suit. He knocked on the door to the bedroom, knuckles rapping gently against it as he hoped to hear that she was ready. He had a plan to take them to the AB Steakhouse , which was a place nearby in Summerbridge that he felt would be a great place to start their date. Then maybe to a coffee shop close by, if she wanted. He had no clue what he was doing, but Midoriya had done his research and had found the best restaurant in town for them. He kept himself from fidgeting, nervous energy threatening to take over.
“Uraraka? I, um…are you ready I mean, it's okay if you're not! Please take your time. I’m so stupid. I shouldn't have knocked. It's okay, really! I’ll be here whenever you're ready to go.” He bowed at the door, anxious about his greeting, his head actually knocking loudly on the door as he bowed. There was a yelp of, “Ow!” Then another mumbled apology, and he continued mumbling anxiously as he waited for her to be ready.
