What was she thinking? Doing this, being here. Having fun with someone from home. Momo considered, for a moment, turning out of Kirishima's grasp and going back inside. But, the part of her that wanted to get out of this funk and depressed mood, that part turned back around and met him with what could only be considered to be a fake, cheerful smile. She could do this. She really did have such good friends, even if she and Kirishima really didn't speak much. They interacted a few times and when she needed to, but she was very focused on what she needed to do. “Stand you up? You say that like this is a date.” The fake grin lightened a little as she smiled, stepping more into place beside him. “That all sounds delicious.”
Her stomach rumbled loudly, more than she was prepared for, and Momo blushed nicely in embarrassment. Using her Quirk required more lipids in her body, which often meant that she needed more fuel than most. “Lead the way, then.” She let him take her arm, grateful for the closeness just for a moment, at least. It didn't take her long as she kept pace with her friend to start asking questions about this place, though. Preya seems so unique to her, so different. For Momo, it was supposed to be an escape, a chance to be free from everything holding her back. Maybe it still could be even if she was here.
“Is there a place for tea here?” Momo asked, looking over at him as they kept walking. “I only brought enough with me for about a month. I couldn’t bring myself to take a lot of them from my mother. She so does enjoy her teas. Especially Earl Grey. That is her favorite. She would always buy tea from England and we had the finest of China to enjoy it with.” Humble brag? Not really. Momo barely realized it when she was speaking about how much money she did have sometimes. Even bringing a month's worth of tea was a bit ridiculous for most people.
