"I foresee a future that has us trading recipes and sampling each other's cooking. They've promised my kitchen will be finished by Monday afternoon, and I am certainly looking forward to that happy event. I've been doing most of my meals on one of those outdoor gas cookers since I moved in. Fine for steaks in the American style, but a bit of a bother at breakfast time."
Richard tilted his head at Susan in consideration of her recommendation. "With a testimony like that, I shall have to give their fish and chips a try for myself. Always has been a weakness of mine. Evidence that no matter how much I had travelled, I was once again back in England."
His polite smile brightened. "Your brother? That's simply wizard. Not likely to see either of mine here; one is a layabout in Paris, the other is working with Father in Marseilles now. Wouldn't bother me a bit if you wanted him to tag along with us in the future, show us both a bit of the sights."
