"Preya certainly has its fair share of restaurants. There's one near my flat that specialises in Chinese, and is very good," she told him. "My palette has significantly broadened since arriving here, and I'm hoping to be able to replicate some of the food soon."
After they settled at their table, Susan gave a soft chuckle at the words "pub grub," mostly because of how spot on they were. "It's near enough to true English," she reassured him. "And it just so happens that the fish and chips here are my go-to."
She smiled as a server gave them menus, though she'd already decided her order and would wait for Richard to choose his own food. "As I said, I take off Saturdays, but it's been a little busy as a matter of fact. I learned yesterday that my brother Peter had arrived a couple of weeks ago and I wasn't aware. I've been helping him to get settled in my flat."
