Who: Harry & Jan What: A DATE! {It's true! He called it one!} When: Backdated to last night Where: The Boardwalk in Brightford Rating: Low Status: Complete!
To say that Jan felt super giddy about this date was an understatement. She had an inkling when she had first started talking to Harry that he might be THAT Harry, but she didn't want to assume or call him out; that never did well for first impressions! But her excitement continued as she got ready for her night out, heading towards the Boardwalk to wait for him. She might have been a bit early, especially given the conversations Harry seemed to be dealing with on top of hers. She could only imagine what he was going through, what with his parents and friends suddenly ending up here. She had a feeling that wasn't in the brochure when he signed up to come to Preya.
The weather was a little colder than she had anticipated and she snuggled down into her scarf a little more, pulling her woven beanie down around her ears. As suspected, there weren't many places open, but she was able to find a small cart that was selling hot cocoa. She took two cups and walked back to her perch against a railing, setting them down. She pulled a small bottle from inside her jacket and poured a little Baileys into each one, picking one up and cupping it in both her hands. "Mmmmm," she said out loud. If she had been a cat, she would have been purring. She took a few sips, her eyes darting around and on the look out for Harry.
