It was strange to know that Tony was seven years behind most of them, and stranger still to realize she'd actually known him that long. She supposed it was probably good that she had the special cocktail the Red Room had cooked up decades ago running through her blood that slowed her aging considerably, otherwise she'd have to explain to him while she looked relatively the same aside from the shorter hair.
It didn't take long to reach Tony's address, and as she walked casually up the road towards his place, she let her eyes take in the sights around her, then focused on the house as she reached it. Her lips quirked in a faint smile when she spotted him, immediately able to see the difference. He was younger, not as tired in the eyes or shoulders, and didn't seem to be carrying quite as large a burden as he did more recently. Instead, he looked closer to he had when they had first met.
When she reached the stairs, her smile warmed a bit, and she stopped at the bottom. "Hope I didn't keep you waiting too long."
