Being tucked up in his arms, watching the scenery around them pass by wasn't as terrifying as she thought. She'd never been up so high, she would have been afraid of hurting herself. They could be afraid, but they couldn't let their fears hold them back. That was what she tried to take out of their experiences. Fear could keep you from moving forward or it could be a great motivator, it all depended on how you used it. She wasn't going to let it hold her back. Coming here wasn't even what she expected and she was seeing that she could still use it.
When they landed she held her hands out for a second to steady herself on her feet. It was a bit chilly up here, she wasn't going to let that deter her either. At his question, she looked thoughtful, looking him over with his wings and his windswept hair. This was a Pro. Everything she should be striving to be. And she was, but she hadn't given much thought to why since coming here. That letter she got at Christmas said they would be taken care of. Before that was her reason for being a Hero though she made her ambition sound more greedy explaining it to Deku and Iida. It was about making sure her parents could have a comfortable life, that just happened to mean she needed money.
Tucking her hands behind her back, she considered the question a little longer, shifting her weight back and forth some. "Well, if you asked me that before, I would have had a pretty quick answer. I wanted to take care of my parents. I guess now... I just want to be the best I can be in case I'm needed." Or if they were ever able to go back, but she wasn't even sure she would take that chance if given it. Who knew what it would be like if they did? It brought up a bunch of theoretical questions she could have fretted over, but she needed to focus. "Professor Aizawa told us you can't become a Pro if you have only one trick. I want to be able to do more."
