Grabbing hold of her and taking flight was simple enough in practice. She wasn't his first flight, probably wouldn't be his last, but it was nice that she was so much smaller than the last person he carried. As long as he kept her close, it was almost like he wasn't carrying much of anything in terms of drag. It was nice.
He let out a little laugh as they went, eventually giving a few hard flaps and he let his weight shift to land with a small stumble. It was always hard to get those perfectly, partly because he carried very few people that way. Feathers were easier. Still, he let her go and adjusted his jacket. The whole training thing would probably go easier with just his costume on, but winter was way too cold for that, even if he wore his winter version.
"If you don't get it before spring, I'll take you for a longer flight." He nodded, crossing his arms for a moment. "So...tell me." He started, tugging the collar of his coat a bit up more over his neck, adjusting the headset so he could hear better. "Why do you want to be a hero?"
