This would be the first time she put on her outfit since coming to Preya. That was only a big deal because she came here expecting to train and that didn't happen right away. She was just expecting more at first. It was almost disappointing, but she wasn't going to let some unexpected circumstances get her down. She was going to take the chances she got and make the most of them.
They weren't like your typical first years and that wasn't bragging. What they'd been through so far wasn't the norm. It made them stronger, but she heard something once along the lines of the dangers in the world growing with your strengths. It was true. The stronger they became and the more they were exposed to, the more dangerous it got for them. They were just kids, dealing with villains. Real ones. That wasn't the case here, but she still had aspirations.
"Okay! I'm so ready!" She smiled and gave a nod, putting on her helmet. When he opened his arms, Ochaco tilted her head a bit, but it sunk in quickly enough. She was trying not to feel nervous the closer she got to him. This was what their training was all about! When he took off, she let out a yelp, telling herself not to snap her eyes shut. No fear! Her arms did clamp down over his while she got used to the feeling and the wind rushing past. It felt so different from floating like she did. It would be something if she could really learn how.
"This is amazing!" She managed after a minute with a smile. She'd be saying that until he dropped her or something equally traumatizing.
