As much as Hawks had felt content to let the comment roll off his tongue and sit there looking fond of a man he'd practically just met, the choking was pretty alarming. Did he have that effect on people? He sat up, looking shocked for a couple seconds before letting out a breathy sort of laugh. Oh. Well. There he went again with going at his own pace. It usually worked out, and got him great popularity, but well. Maybe he should slow down and not mention sex before their food even came out.
"Wow...you're cute." Compared to most of his friends before, Kotetsu was easily more laid back than they were. Being a hero was the sort of thing that hardened you, he guessed. Still, he had to smirk a bit and drop his head back onto his hands, giving a thoughtful little hum. "Oh, yeah. Definitely." Well, that much could be arranged, if the offer was serious. "If you're lucky..." It wasn't too good to give in too easily, even if he'd be a liar if he said he didn't want it. Unless Kotetsu just turned full blown jerk, and maybe not even that would keep Hawks away, he'd happily do something like this again.
He sat up a bit more when the waiter came back with their food and he nodded a quick thanks before picking up one of the wings from his plate and staring at it curiously. "You know the reason I'd rather eat these out is because it's so weird to handle them when they're cold and raw." He laughed, shifting his own wings a bit. "It's sort of funny, right? A bird eating a bird!" Usually that was more amusing to him than anyone else, but it still stood. "Did your mom like the chicken recipe? Did you fix it for them yet?" He asked, starting on his food.
