Nodding along, Hawks took that as a sort of open invitation to look. You could learn a lot about someone just by looking at them, of course, he couldn't make jokes with this guy just yet. Then again, that wasn't always appropriate. Of course, Hawks was known for going his own way and not following typical protocol, it was partly why his sidekicks were more of a cleanup crew than actual sidekicks. It was also why the task force had offered him the job to get in with the villains. His reputation worked in that favor. Though, he guessed that was all off the table now.
His grin slowly spread at the little show of confidence. This guy was cute, in the typical dad sort of way. It was a side of Endeavor he hadn't really gotten to see, despite knowing the man had several children. "Right, of course. How could I!" He let out a little laugh that ruffled his feathers a bit before nodding enthusiastically. "Great! It'll be something you won't ever forget!" No one had yet, at least.
There wasn't much avoiding the little pause, the way his eyes caught the little glimmer on his hands. Married. Like someone else he knew. Well, clearly not, if he was here like this. There were questions on his tongue, but even being known as going way too fast for his own good he still knew how to pump the brakes. That wasn't something you talked about on a first date. However...the question just opened up a whole new can of worms that he was prepared to talk about. "Oh, it's definitely an alias. It's my hero name." He paused for a second before leaning back slightly in his chair. "I'd tell you my real name...but I only tell that to people I'm going to have sex with. So, that's entirely up to you if you find out what it is later when I take you home." It was a date after all.
