It was plainly obvious to Major that this whole thing moved along already in her world, so he tried to push along for her sake. She was one of the few he knew and bothered to socialize with for the time being. He had only been here for no more than a blink of an eye. He wouldn't push her away nor would he run from her. But damn it wasn't awkward looking into the eyes of someone who made you into what you were.
"I've been dying my hair," he said after several moments of silence. He ran his fingers through his hair, a little smirk brightening his face. "I don't rock the platinum look as well as you do."
