For certain things, Tonks didn't have to wonder. She was born of two very different worlds, and even though her father was a wizard, his Muggle heritage was still very much a part of him. And since the Black side of the family wasn't in the picture, she got to know more about Muggle culture from her Tonks grandparents. Still, she spent most of her time in a magical household with her parents and then at Hogwarts. It was sort of like being born in a country to parents who had come from another country. Sometimes it was hard to mesh both cultures together, because they were so different in nature, but her parents actually did really well in teaching her to be open to all sorts of people.
But that didn't mean that she knew everything about both cultures. She was still learning so much about magic and some of her understanding of Muggle things was based on either pure speculation or her grandparents' biases. So, somethings were going to sound a bit weird coming out of her mouth, but she was trying, okay? She nodded though, because even though they'd figured out a nice way to stay warm, they really could have been more comfortable... and still have done the things they were currently doing. "Too right," she replied. "Well make sure to have some vehicle juice with us next time for sure."
It wasn't Tonks's first time kissing a girl, but it was her first time kissing a girl since she'd been here, since Ren. Of course she still cared about Ren, but there were all sorts of complications that came with Ren too. She was a Slytherin from a Pureblood family, who would likely never in their lives allow Ren to date a girl, much less a halfbreed like Tonks was. She didn't know how her own parents would take it honestly, but she suspected they would be less hard on her than Ren's parents would be. But Hina... Hina had no complications. She was sweet and kind. Sure, she'd had a lot of issues back where she was from, but all that was in the past and long gone for her. "Mmm, true true -- guess now would be a good time to confess I think you're rather fit," Tonks said, stealing yet another kiss. "Hope that's alright."
She giggled as they continued to move together in the darkness. Tonks was already feeling a bit lightheaded from the kissing and the emotions they elicited, but she didn't want to go too far too fast. She didn't know just how much experience Hina had with this. And while she didn't have all that much experience of her own, well, she and Ren had a lot of time on their hands on occasion to experiment so let's just leave it at that. It was nice being this close to someone again, to feel another person's warm skin on her fingertips as they dipped under Hina's shirt and dared to travel higher up her front. "Tell me when to stop," she whispered against her lips as her fingers inched up her body. "As for magical advice, I'm hardly the magic guru around here." She shut off the fire spell without a word and freed her other hand so she could cup Hina's cheek and kiss her deeply, her hair color switching instantly into a dark red. "All I know is that I want to be here with you. That's all the magic I need."
