"No sorry! We're having fun!" It felt like a long time since she had actual fun. Sure, she enjoyed spending time with the boys and arranging things with Gou, but those things felt more like a distraction to her. Maybe she was just taking what happened at Halloween too hard and letting Preya's weirdness get to her, but it was a reminder that it wasn't the first time she tried to kill her friends. Last time she just had a different reason. That still weighed on her too. It really wasn't that long ago she had to watch half of her class murder each other. Something like that took awhile to get over. What made it worse though was that she came here without them. Survivor's remorse?
She wondered some what had Tonks so fidgety and distracted today, figuring it had to do with the season rather than her herself. "It can be our thing," she giggled some herself at the rambling, though she didn't want to draw attention to it and make it worse for her. "And, I mean, T.V. is pretty awesome. Cars! Cellphones!" Maybe flying was arguably cooler, but could you listen to the radio on a broom? Did a broom keep you warm and dry? How long did it take to deliver letters by owl anyway? Hina tweaked some with the lights and garland on the tree so it all looked even, not at all noticing the look that Tonks was giving her while she was busy in the box. "So you grew up with a lot of both then?"
"Oh..." The small exclamation turned into more giggles of her own a moment later with the glittery tinsel wrapped all around her. She fluffed it up some like some movie star, striking a cheesy pose for Tonks before another fit of laughter. "I'm ready for my close up! Think I'll make next top model?" As cruddy as she felt some of the time, there were still moments like this that made it genuinely better and she seemed more like herself again. "You know, I could probably wear it out and someone would think I was making some crazy fashion statement. It might even catch on." People did some crazy things, it really wouldn't surprise her if it actually happened.
"When we're done, know what we should do?" She took one of the ends to string around Tonk's shoulders too, laughing some more. "Make some hot chocolate and break out the donuts! And a movie!"
