Azrael might not have heard Yves say 'for now' but he could still sense it lingering in the air, just as he'd sensed Azrael's unease earlier when he had used his angel powers to put away his things. Yves felt a little bit selfish in that moment, he was in such good standing with Heaven but he knew that even though he and God may have forgiven Azrael, he still had a long way to go until he'd feel like he didn't have to look over his shoulder in case Dominic or someone else turned up.
But Yves's concerns melted away at Azrael's smile and he let out a laugh at the nickname. Being one with all the words written, he knew the reference, the bird of destiny from Finnish folklore. His brother was so damn clever.
Yves watched Azrael take off, before he let out a soft sigh, his enormous dazzling wings stretching out fully, before they flapped once, twice, and then with a gust he was in the air.
He caught up to Azrael quickly, grinning.
"I missed this." He shouted slightly so his voice could be heard over the wind whipping around them.
