Azrael walked towards the garage door entrance, opening it up with a push of a button so the door was fully open. Looking out at the skyline and the view of the city, he tapped the little garage remote against his palm.
Putting the remote to the side, he replied, "We're safe here". He wanted to add, for now but there was no point. If Eli and Yves could come to Preya, the others could come too. Any of them. Although there was less chance of some of them showing up that others. Azrael knew that he had to enjoy his freedom while he could. Thoughts of Stone and Judgement ere put to rest in the back of his mind, along with thoughts of Lucifer and Hell alongside them.
Blackbird. The song by The Beatles, often made Azrael think of Yves. It was genuinely nice to hear him call him that little pet name. Over the years, they have a variety of nicknames for one another and sometimes code names. With each passing age and each new era, new names would be added to their vocabulary.
"Come on, Cuckoo" he joked, looking back at Yves with smile. He flapped his large black wings once and took off into the sky. It was about time people in Preya adapted to him. He had spent a year adapting to them. Now they could get used to the site of an Angel in flight.
