"I really don't care if you do take up too much room" he shrugged. "At least this place might feel lived in" he added.
When Susan had been living with him, he had made an effort to learn to act more human. To do things humans did. Some of that included chores around the house, working on his bike in the garage, figuring out how he would decorate to make it feel like his place. No longer restricted to run down and out hideaways, he could live among humans without fear, without worry.
"Y'know, I tried gardening, tried decorating. Tried to get this place right but I ain't got the creativity for it. But it's nice. Kinda fancy" he smirked. "Never thought we'd be standing here like this, especially in a place like this" he said, gesturing to their surroundings. "Come on, put your stuff here and we can go out. I've got a treat for you" he added, raising his eyebrows up and down in a silly way.
