If you went off of stereotypes that circulated about certain places, it was easily one of those things that was just widely believed, to which Kotetsu laughed. "Maybe she'll take to the pretty outfits and things when it comes to figure skating? Kaede enjoys that."
At the question from the small girl, Kotetsu's eyes lit up with a grin of his own. "You know, I'll bet Kaede wouldn't mind at all." He waved at her to get her attention so his voice wasn't carrying all through the rink again and so Kaede wouldn't give him that look because he was being embarrassing. She was such a doll, Madison was, he was sure Kaede would help her. She was a Kaburagi. Helping people was just what they did.
"We're not leaving yet are we?" The whine was thick in her voice until Kotetsu pulled her closer to explain that Madison was just learning and wanted her help. She smiled a second later, turning to look at Madison while holding a hand out to her. "Hi, I'm Kaede. I'd be happy to show you what I can." Cautiously, Kaede showed Madison how to glide forward, explaining simply how to move her body without taking her far away from her mom.
"Man, I got a good kid." Tomoe and his mom sure did a good job...he just hoped he didn't wreck it here trying to do it solo. "We're here a few times a week. I'm sure if we planned it out, you could come by and we could do more."
