Haru gave a small hum. Just because Makoto didn't need anything else. That didn't mean he didn't want something. It wasn't hard to imagine what might be missing from Makoto's birthday. As much as Haru had tried to gather friends and so on, he knew that it wasn't any sort of consolation. Makoto had given up a lot in coming here. Haru's family were scattered at best, so missing them hadn't been much of an issue when all he could have expected was a phone call or money. It was hardly personal for him. Recently Makoto's mother had been a bit more motherly than his own. He knew that his mother and father loved him, but still. He'd gotten used to them not being around long before Preya.
"Maybe," he said, voice somewhat softer now that Makoto was so close. It was easy to tuck himself closer, turn his head just a bit and give Makoto's hand a little pull just to make sure he could hit his mark of pressing a quick kiss to his lips. "Good thinking." He offered a small smile, shifting himself onto his back and pulling Makoto along so he could, at least partly, lay on him if he wanted. It freed up his hand so he could lift it to Makoto's hair.
"If that's what you want to do." He nodded, thinking for a moment. "But really, we can do anything. I'd be happy to go with you. It's your birthday, we'll do whatever you want. Just name it." He nodded. He would. Anything Makoto wanted to do. It didn't really matter to Haru as long as they were together. That was all that mattered, even now. He looked down, watching the hair fall from his fingertips. "Even if that's just buying you the biggest box of chocolate so you can eat it all day." He was teasing...mostly.
