Rose was in a good mood. She would never be a morning person, but her delight had carried over from last night's Tahitian hula dance cardio class. Just the memory of it and the sight of a millennia-old alien doing the hula was enough to make her giggle.
After finishing up some paperwork, she headed back to check on her canine charges. She paused in the doorway to the yard, surprised to see a lone stranger holding court with the dogs. Usually the staff tried to have someone on hand to supervise and offer assistance, but it seemed that the co-worker that had let him in had wandered off.
An older mutt that she was fairly sure was part giant fluffball wandered over and leaned against her leg with enough weight that she wobbled. Rose steadied herself and scratched his ears, a gentle smile on her lips. She did her best not to have any favourites among her charges, but this one always made her want to scoop him up and take him home with her.
She slowly made her way over to Castiel with her furry shadow, pausing to offer scratches or to separate any particularly vigorous playing. "Hello there. I'm Rose. Did you need help with anything?"
