"Yeah," was really all Todoroki bothered to say about the others. Whether or not their idea of fun was the same, didn't seem to matter. It wouldn't stop Todoroki from trying to be social with them, trying to understand them. On the logical side, he'd someday want those connections no matter what agency they all ended up at or building. From another, it had felt like the first time he actually wanted...friends. If that was what you would call his attempts. It wasn't exactly his fault that he wasn't the best at it.
Still, there was no way Bakugo didn't clue into the whole situation. Other people probably did, too, he just hadn't been aware after missing classes then trying to work extra hard to catch up on missed assignments. Listening in on conversations had seemed like the last thing on his mind. As much as Todoroki might not be able to deny it, he didn't mind being near Bakugo. He thought he'd done well enough ignoring him when Bakugo clearly was ignoring him back. It just hadn't lasted.
He felt himself tense up slightly, the thought of just leaving a very real thing in the front of his mind. Annoying? No. Not really. Calling him out on something that was probably true? Yeah. He didn't want to think about missing Bakugo, or how weird it'd been trying to sleep. He'd fully blamed it on his sleep schedule being out of whack, but now he had to wonder. He wasn't really used to questioning himself either. "I never said that." It wasn't really a denial, but it wasn't admitting it either. He just...hadn't said anything. It was probably better that way.
Todoroki wasn't going to tell him to go back to bed again, especially when he seemed to finally be feeling awake himself. Though, what he expected to do now or talk about was beyond him.
It didn't seem that important to immediately come up with something though when Bakugo just pulled him back. He couldn't stop his skin from cooling slightly on reflex, but it faded almost just as quickly when he realized that Bakugo wasn't actually trying to attack him. He wanted...hell if Todoroki knew. The other boy was about as easy to read as a brick if he wasn't screaming. The shut up was a pretty good clue, though. About as good as Todoroki could expect, at least.
So, he shifted, moving in closer and turning more into the other boy. Whether Bakugo admitted it or not, or if he was doing it for Todoroki's sake for whatever reason, it seemed like the thing to do. He closed his eyes again, moving his arm over Bakugo similar to the way he did before, the motion strangely comfortable even now. He'd probably wonder about that later. He wasn't a touchy feely person, like Bakugo said. Yet, having an offer of it, he didn't want to say no, even if it was only curiosity fueling his choice.
He wanted to say something, because Bakugo's warmth was steadily seeping through his clothes and that same almost sweet something was really obvious in being so close, not as strong, but he figured he just lacked the enhanced senses. Still, if he didn't do something, he might actually fall asleep on the other boy, no matter how awake he felt. "Is this what you wanted to do instead of sleep?"
