For a moment, Todoroki almost asked what Deku could have possibly done to deserve it, but he knew those two had something unresolved between them. What it could be, he didn't know, but you just didn't care that much about what someone else did without reason. It also wasn't something he felt the need to press on with. "I'd hope not." He could leave it at that. He could tell that there wasn't much else to be said at the time, anyway. It wasn't like he wanted to talk about his dad or life in general.
"The times I did stay up there wasn't a whole lot of fun happening." Well, to Todoroki. Sure, he still did it occasionally. Though, it did often seem like they were way more into whatever they were doing at the time than he was. Truthfully, after the fact, he often felt like he should have just slept. Really, even now, he was regretting the whole sliding down onto the pillows thing. It had just put him, more or less, into his usual fall asleep position.
Glancing up at Bakugo didn't really do much for him either, though, when Bakugo had his eyes closed like he was still tired, too. He could have scoffed, had he the energy, at the touchy feely comment. Of course, what he also didn't have the energy to fight off was the sudden memories of waking up with Bakugo or even just watching the other boy wake up. He always did look really peaceful that way, like whatever it was that made him constantly scowl during the day just slipped away when he was asleep.
If he was staring now, it seemed okay, since Bakugo didn't overly seem to be paying attention to him just then. Not really. It would be a lie if he said the thought of how easy it would be to roll over toward the other boy, just drop an arm over him or just press up against his side. In fact, it felt like forever later, but probably only a couple seconds before he rolled onto his side to better look at him. It was only because they were talking. Sort of. Facing him was just more polite and less hard on Todoroki's neck. "You didn't seem to mind it at the time."
