As much as the whole idea of a party had seemed fun before, Haru was definitely going to rethink Halloween stuff come next year. Maybe staying in the pool would have been better for everyone. Yet, somehow it sort of worked out. There was that much. He could only imagine what some other people were going through, but at least none of them had to deal with murderous bears or whatever. Maybe. Given the nature of this place, Haru was starting to wonder if anything should surprise him.
Overall, it had just been draining. Too much excitement and pressure, and not nearly enough down time. Being a cat had been simple enough, Haru was naturally the sort that if he wanted attention, he could find it, but he was happy to laze around and keep quiet most of the time anyway. In a way, they were lucky to have the adults around. The amount of trouble they all could have gotten into would have been way worse. Who even knew where Haru might have ended up even when he first arrived without Hanzo agreeing to play guardian.
He breathed out. While he might have only been around what felt like a tiny bit longer than Makoto, he was starting to see the theme. "I guess everyone will be wary now...for a while." He admitted. Though, he could take comfort in the fact that it didn't seem like the really crazy stuff happened constantly. Whether or not it happening weekly would make it easier to cope with or not, he didn't want to think about it.
"Let's have pizza." It was something the other boy liked, really they all did to an extent. "And have cake." Nagisa would definitely like that. It seemed like a good enough excuse to spend some money as any. It wasn't every day your friend got to come home. With some luck, it'd be the last time he'd have to worry about that. Everyone sort of needed a break, and he just closed his eyes, letting Makoto lean for a while as he lightly rubbed one of his arms. He was glad the urge to lick the other boy seemed to have faded into almost nothing, at least.
"You should just take off your pants so we can lay down." Not that Haru disliked this position. He really liked it. It was weirdly comforting having Makoto behind him. But he knew he had to be tired, Haru was too. Besides, once they were down, he'd get the chance to scoot in and hold onto him better, and that seemed like a win for both of them. "Or do you want me to do it for you?"
