Those words didn't help, of course. All of his theories so far had been similar to what Todoroki was thinking, as if they were focused on this being someone's Quirk. This was something different, though, from what Todoroki was saying. He frowned, leaning forward himself. His fingers came to rest beneath his chin in a thoughtful pose, shaking his head in response. "No, I haven't. I mean, I've been exactly the same as always, but then, if someone was making me forget things I wouldn't exactly remember that I was forgetting it, would I?"
His ice cream sat off to the side, slowly melting into a puddle of liquid, as his mind wandered now. "I wonder if that's it. Is someone here or back home making me forget? But what would I be forgetting? I mean, I did choose to come here. I thought I could leave again, but it was still my choice to come here in the first place. It sounds like everyone who winds up here has their own reasons for showing up...yours was different than mine. And there are other heroes here, too. Ones who have never even heard of All Might before." As if that were a serious crime.
His mind was going a million miles a minute now, babbling aloud just like he tended to do when a thought grabbed him and his mind wandered. "I don't know what else to do about all of this though. I mean, I'm here. It's not like I can just disappear from this place. Some people have disappeared. I don't know where they went, though. It's a whole mystery about this place..." Really, the victim in this whole conversation was probably the ice cream, which sat still dissolving into a liquidy mess at his side.
