Natsu still wondered about this place and what was really with it. Why he ended up here and everyone else obviously ended up somewhere else. It had to have something to do with Achnalogia's magic, right? Whatever it was, it wasn't like there was much he could do about it right now. He was kinda dumb, but he knew better than to go smashing through walls as demanding answers in a place where his magic didn't even work right. But man, did he want to. Someone had to know what was up and one of these days he was gonna find out. For now, he just had to make the best of things. Which partly meant finding a place to stay. It was frustrating. Places around here were expensive. Back home, he mostly worried about feeding them and helping Lucy pay her rent. He didn't care about sleeping outside. But here that was weird and irresponsible. And Happy was already complaining about the cold.
So they looked for an apartment. And looked for one. "I dunno, Happy. Didn't it say this one was bigger than the last one?" Again, he was kinda dumb and bad at math, but weren't bigger places usually more expensive? "Awww, come on! Lets look anyway!" Ugh, whatever. Happy was probably hoping someone else had cookies or brownies or something to eat out. It couldn't really hurt, but they were so gonna take a break after this one. "Yeah, come on..." With his hands shoved in his pockets, looking up at the building, he didn't see that someone was coming out of the building either until they collided. Good lookin' out, Happy, good lookin' out.
"I wasn't really payin' attention either. Sorr-hey! You're that girl!" He blinked a few times as he looked at her, but he was definitely pretty sure she was the same one he ran into at the festival. "Oooooh, it's that giiiiirl, Natsu! She's blu-AHH!" He reached up to yank Happy down by the tail before he kept running his mouth, nodding into the building while Happy muttered behind his hand while he held him to his side. "You check this place out? Lemme guess, super expensive?" It would figure, that was what they ran into all day. Happy managed to wriggle out from under his arm, giving him a halfhearted swipe with his claws as he zipped past them saying he was going to go look anyway and that he was mean. Typical.
"Don't mind Happy. Sorry we ran into ya like that."
