There was only one place that had meat buns that could semi-rival his mother's recipe and that was City Sushi. Ken had ultimately popped into many of the places around Preya while trying to investigate and work, and it was easily one of the best, if not the top. It was hard to compare when most of them were similar in a lot of areas. Still, he wasn't too concerned with that. What was important was making sure he waited and that he could spot the woman he was set to meet. This would give him a chance to try some new menu items as well most likely.
He'd left Wormmon with Daisuke for the day, even against the digimon's wishes. It was hard enough explaining that this wasn't some kind of date without him staring at the poor woman with wide eyes and asking her things she might not know the answers to. He loved his partner, but the digimon could easily be off putting if you weren't expecting a giant caterpillar to be walking and talking. At least, people on the force had grown accustomed to him somewhat, if only because of his insistence on making coffee for people to get on their good sides.
When he caught sight of a similar looking head of blue hair, he pushed off of the wall, raising a hand just enough to gesture for her attention. That had to be her, even if the network's photos were small. "You're Dory, right? I'm Ken."
