She was thankful that this man didn't seem horribly intent on getting close to her. He wouldn't be the first, nor the last, most likely, but a part of her truly appreciated it none the less. Besides, it gave her the chance to properly introduce herself to the dragon, even if it wasn't with words exactly. Most animals couldn't speak, after all, but a kind look and soft touch spoke volumes.
"He's charming." She admitted, giving the animal a light scratch beneath it's muzzle before she looked back at him. "You may call me Amalthea." Her gaze followed his motions, and he didn't doubt that if someone was going to hide a dragon, it would have been in Everdale.
It only seemed polite to offer similar information.
"I live in Brightford, near the Gardens. Though, I love the forest, I could never stay away for long. Some days even a few hours feels like too much, though, I have gone much further and longer." She offered a soft smile, leaving a hand on the dragon's neck as she turned more of her attention to him. "Have you been to the sea? It's lovely. If you travel near the mountains, he might enjoy a dive from the cliffs."
