It was painfully easy to get lost in the forest, but not in the way that one might think. Amalthea knew Preya in a way that many did not, and some part of her heart would always be able to find the others like her, and from there she could find anywhere. It was easy to lose her sense of self, at least if she wandered as a unicorn. Some days she wondered really what she was now, more woman or immortal beast, but today wasn't one of those days, thankfully.
This morning had simply been best left for feeling the dew beneath her toes as she walked and enjoying the soft calls of the waking animals around her. It had been her only comfort once, away from her friends, and it was no different here.
To say she didn't notice the man and his dragon might have been too much, but she wasn't exactly bothered. Then again, you never ran from anything immortal, after all. If she kept walking she might have very well gone unnoticed, or so she had thought, until he called to her. She hesitated, hoping her body language was enough to suggest that touching her was not a good idea, but he seemed harmless enough...and that dragon.
"It is." She said, waiting for the pause before staring at the dragon again. He seemed...different from many that she'd met before, far more...tame, if one could call any creature that. "You're not going to kill him, are you?" She stepped closer, holding out her hand to touch the dragon's head as she watched Hiccup for a moment before back to the dragon, offering it a small smile.
