Makoto|Haru
There was something relaxing and familiar about attending a festival. Sure, the food was different and the reasons, but it was comforting to know that even all the weird changes that came with their new home, some things were still the same. People liked gathering for whatever reason. Whether it was meant to placate the communities or not, Haru didn't really care. He felt a bit removed from it, even if some of his new college mates had known people who disappeared. As long as it wasn't one of them, it was hard to really connect.
"We put up with him before Rei." Haru said, a hint of amusement in his voice. He was happy to let his friends run off and eat things, since he wasn't too sure he was ready for snacks just yet. "I think he probably likes the attention. Nagisa seems crazy about him."
He looked up at Makoto for a moment, smiling slightly before looking back out around the booths. He was glad that since summer was over there wasn't one he was expected to sit at for any time for the swim shop. "Do you want to play a game? They might have goldfish somewhere."
