Karina | Narcissa
Lucius had taken the baby for a moment while Narcissa had stopped to freshen up. She had been a bit hesitant to see what the bathrooms would be like but was pleasantly surprised. They had truly put in the effort to make this a very nice experience for everyone. The easier it is for us not to question when people disappear. She had heard a rather large group had gone missing this past month, one name being her cousin. She surprisingly found herself a bit saddened by the news, but tried to cover it up with indifference. She convinced herself that she was more concerned with Andromeda and how she was taking the news. She would have to reach out to her and see.
But for now she was checking her make up in the mirror when she realized there was another reflection of her. She blinked, glancing from herself to the other reflection in the mirror. She turned around, her heart beating as she started to realized what was going on. It must have been the girl from the network. The one who continued to accuse her of being someone she wasn't, despite her assurance it wasn't true. It was enough that Narcissa didn't respond, not wanting to write in a continuous circle. If the girl didn't want to believe her, then so be it. She wasn't going to stoop and argue.
But another side of her, perhaps the more maternal side, told her she was being harsh. It was hard when you first arrived here. There were a lot of questions and a lot of uncertainty. She had been lucky to have so many relatives and friends here. Perhaps this girl couldn't say the same. She sighed, dropping her guard a little.
"It's you." She turned back to checking her make up. "Decided to see what the fun was about?"
