Scott crouches down to Madison's height, which is pretty difficult given how short she is. The kid can't be more than maybe, what, 4, 5 years old?
Scott's not exactly sure what to do with a kid that young. He'd only seen Cassie when she was a baby, and then when she was a few years older than this kid.
Still, she was obviously in a state of distress and in a crowd and though Scott doesn't have any memories of Cassie at that age, he has a few lasting memories of himself at that age, lost in a shopping mall at Christmas, and it wasn't a pleasant time. Especially since in the chaos of holiday shopping, it took awhile for an adult to actually stop and take him over to Security.
"You're looking for your mommy?" he asks. "I'm looking for my daughter, too. You wanna look for them together?"
