Honey/Ruby
There was... a lot of orange and yellow. The yellow reminded her of Zu and the orange, well...
She took a deep breath and told herself she was determined to enjoy herself like she used to at the carnivals back home.
Ruby was so caught up in looking at the displays that she walked right a booth. It toppled over a display case and some items broke. She immediately started to apologize, but the person inside the booth did not seem pleased. He towered over Ruby. "You planning on paying for all of this?"
Ruby's eyes widened. She definitely didn't have enough money to pay for much of anything. "I'm- I'm sorry. I didn't mean to -"
As she took a step back, the man grabbed her arm roughly. She tensed. "You're going to pay for everything or else I'm-"
It was instinct that happened next. Her eyes flashed orange. "Go away and leave me alone. This isn't even your booth."
The man paused, then lowered his hand as Ruby's eyes went back to normal. His demeanour changed. "This isn't even my booth... sorry." And he walked away from the booth entirely. Ruby's breathing was still pretty heavy as she watched the large man retreat.
