Silently, Mycroft watched her out of the corner of his eye, observing the details of her face, he body language. If Selene was an archetypical vampire, he wanted to commit to memory the significant tells that made her stand apart from humans, so he could later observe and identify the same in others.
He accepted the folder and replaced it in his briefcase. "As of now, the perpetrator of this crime has not been found," he said, solemnly. "As for the bodies... we've taken that into consideration. They are being stored in the morgue, and so far, no signs of reanimation. How long does it usually take, between the death of a person and them returning as a vampire."
