Mycroft nodded slowly. While he was somewhat skeptical, he had no other experience to work from than what she told him, so until now he choose to accept, but keep an open mind.
"The later scenario," Mycroft informed Selene. "The primary reason we've decided to create this special department." He reached down and from the inside of his briefcase he brought out a manila folder with a case report. "A family of four. Drained of blood. Tell-tale marks on the neck." He handed it to her. "There were extensive photos taken, as well as a coroner report."
Having her describe herself her position on the food chain, made Mycroft turn up his nose, but besides that, he refrained from speaking his mind.
