With a sigh, Selene tossed her cup across the small patio into the trash and stood, following the young woman out the the waiting car. At worst it was some sort of a trap, and probably more interesting than the morning shows on television. And of course she was still armed from her shift - not that she went anywhere completely unarmed. Ever. And, who knew? It might be a job offer of some sort. Not that she really needed the money, but a paycheck seemed to be how humans kept score these days.
