Bill settled her hands on her stomach once she was settled on the bed in the sickbay, watching him mess with the buttons and switches until the ray started beaming on her. It was a little strange - she'd never explored this particular room before having never found the need but she wasn't surprised it existed. This was a space ship after all. What kind of ship wouldn't have a medical facility?
She tensed slightly as he spoke, trying not to let her concern show on her face. "Well... On the one hand, at least we know they can't suddenly institute labour camps with all the really smart and occasionally super powered people around. You know, unless they're like the monks. But on the other, we also know they can just make people vanish." Her head throbbed for a moment, "Right. Theorizing hurts. Won't do that for a bit. You're on your own."
