Bill didn't hang up her phone until the TARDIS started to materialize. She had started to reach for the Doctor's hand when she heard a voice calling towards them. Her head turned to quickly and she got very dizzy for a moment, bracing her hands on the pavement to keep herself from keeling over. "Sorry Watson," she called in return, using his surname simply for the Doctor's benefit, "You know how it is - once the TARDIS shows up, it's a done deal."
She left the scratchy emergency blanket behind as she reached up for the Doctor's hand and carefully got up. Bill stumbled more than she had hoped she would, mentally blaming it on her legs being slightly asleep but knowing it was the whack on the head. "Get me out of here," she breathed to the Doctor, face brave but everything else scared. It wouldn't be sensible to be otherwise.
