Nina & Cassiopeia
That was one of Nina's many faults - too bluntly honest. She didn't want to be here and she didn't care who overheard. These parties were tedious to her. She couldn't partake of anything good and most people annoyed the Hell out of her. Still, she smiled as she saw the woman in green relax with her honesty. So Nina had guessed right - she was very used to these sorts of obligations.
She laughed, smiling broadly but very careful to keep her fangs hidden. "No! My goodness! God forbid we be seen snubbing ceremonial figure heads that don't actually do much of anything from what I can tell," she knew that they did something but she wasn't sure it actually mattered in the long run. This woman was amusing, whoever she was, now that she'd been essentially given permission to relax.
Nina's smile remained as she shook Cassiopeia's hand, making sure to monitor her strength and not make it seem like a battle. There was no need to be aggressive. "Nina Price - Los Angeles, California. Lovely to meet you, truly."
