Walking did seem to make things a bit more calm. It was easy enough to focus on people or even the sounds coming from the poodle at his side and not so entirely on Victor. It let his mind wander to the fact that he had no clue where he was going, and how it was probably a good thing that Victor was here, since he seemed totally fine other than a bit thoughtful. He looked up, watching the stars for a moment. There was probably some sort of poetic saying about Victor being a star and that was why, but Yuri wasn't going to say it.
He understood, in a way that maybe a lot of people wouldn't. He smiled a little, looking down at Makkachin before back up to Victor. "It's pretty." He took a deep breath. "In Detroit, they had an outdoor skating rink and on the weekends, they kept it open really late. I used to love to go there. Sometimes when there were too many people to skate, and others when no one was there and I could practice under the stars when it was quiet. It reminded me of home, even though it was very different."
