Expecting the dog, and still missing his own, Yuri felt instantly drawn to the excited poodle. He held out a hand, letting the dog sniff before giving him a fond pet which only seemed to invite attention. Of course, Yuri realized a moment belatedly that bending to ruffle up the curly fur left his face quite close to Victor in a way that probably wasn't the most polite thing to do, and he flushed almost instantly and stood up, trying not to make it obvious when his attention refocused on Victor's choice of clothing.
It was him. Though, Yuri knew he'd recognize his voice across the room, his style even if his head was covered with a bag. He felt himself tense slightly at the wink, having to force himself to swallow and actually breathe before he did something extra embarrassing. What that something was, he could only imagine.
"H-Hi, Victor!" There was something infinitely charming about the man and the unease quickly traded itself for excitement. "I hope you're hungry." He nodded, offering a smile of his own, even if he was certain it wasn't nearly as godlike and impressive, fingers patting atop Makkachin's head again before he looked down. "You're so friendly. Victor must take you everywhere."
