Who: Symmetra and Tristram Wells When: Monday 19th Where: Quantum Arcana What: An interview Warnings: TBD, probably Tristram drinking wine, some swearing, but not much else.
Just another Monday afternoon... Quantum Arcana was open for business. From the outside it looked old fashioned but simple with large windows, their frames made from dark stained oak. The door, also made from a dark stained wood, was decorated with a stained glass window. At its centre was the mathematical symbol "phi". Inside, the shop looked like this. Tristram always liked his places of business to feel warm and welcoming. He wanted them to feel like another home, a place where he could work and feel comfortable.
And while the books seemed to be oddly stacked on tables and seemed out of place in some parts of the shop, that was how Tristram liked it. There was an organised code to his form of chaos. The shop was far neater now than it had been when he had arrived in Preya. That was down to him being the only person working there. He had no one to tell him how to run things or organise things and so over time he had developed a system complete with a hand written catalogue of every book in the shop. In a separate book he had all the rare collections and pieces listed. Those were kept separate from the other books, some in glass display cases, and others hidden upstairs in storage.
Tristram sat behind the front desk with a glass of wine. He had not eaten breakfast and was already on his second glass. He had his face buried in a book, as per usual, engrossed in the details, completely unaware of the time.
