"Hello lovely," was the greeting added with it. She was all too pleased to offer the woman a slice of cake, curious as to how she would like it. It was a rather classic British dessert and not everyone liked marzipan.
Her smile only grew at the compliment. Although there wasn't much emotion to go with it, she knew the words were in earnest. But her natural curiosity kicked in as Spock seemed to be... working? "You know you could just ask me things. It's not like they're secret family recipes or anything," she leaned forward, hands on her table as she tried to peer at the front of the PADD. "Why are you even working at a festival? You'll learn more by actually going out and experiencing things rather than monitoring."
