And there it was. In her eyes, it had all come down to presentation much like Bill had thought it would. Her entry had been a lovely Battenburg cake with almond marzipan. She had gotten a bit of help getting it right in the way of taste testers and asking the TARDIS for better recipes with promises of giving the ship whatever came in the gift basket. One had to woo a lady, after all, even if that lady was an intergalactic time machine.
However, at the moment, she was now offering cake slices to passers-by - anyone interested in finding out what was so good about the cake that had won. She had several extras (1, 2, and 3) to serve from, all too pleased to share. There had been a moment when the judges had been busy deliberating that she'd stepped away to check on the other various competitions but now... Now she just wanted to give people cake. That was a noble pursuit, wasn't it? "Who wants cake?" she grinned, all too pleased with herself.
