Jonathan and Cassian
It didn't take long for Jonathan to get lost. He hadn't seen a crowd this large in quite some time and, while he had arrived with good friends, he involuntarily drifted away from them. The crowd moved in every direction and, after glancing at this and that, he turned and saw that he was alone. Well, not alone, but without the company that came with him. It would have made any other person nervous but, having been a loner for the longest time since his arrival, he was hardly shaken. He would eventually find them again and, until then, he would make the most of it.
He decided to check out he culinary competitions first. The baking competitions were about to start and the crowds were forming quickly around a set of tables. He could smell the cakes and pastries from the back of the crowd. Lingering not far from the tavern, and with so little room to drift, it would only be a matter of time before he bumped shoulders. So when he clumsily strolled right into someone, he quickly took a few steps back all while wearing a nervous expression.
"Sorry 'bout that," he said as he chewed his lip. "Big crowd, y'know. I'm sure it's like this at Kingsby every weekend." Then his nervous habit broke as he smiled to show his (hopeful) humor.
