Monday nights were usually slow, so after her shift briefing, Selene decided to let the uniforms handle the routine patrols while she visited a few of the bars, listened to various conversations of people who didn't know she could hear their heartbeats across the room, let alone quietly spoken words.
For all that Limbo was a biker bar, it was generally quiet, the patrons mostly self-policing. She kept to herself, deliberately 'didn't see' some things that a rookie officer would have been all over, and sometimes picked up useful tidbits of information.
Her long hair covered the earpiece of the radio she wore under her long coat, allowing her to keep track of what her officers were up to while she nursed a drunken fairy as she sat at one end of the bar, using the mirror behind the bar to watch the room behind her. She heard the door open, and watched as someone she didn't recognize came into the place.
