"Hey, never stopped people giving named people other names" Azrael responded with a shrug of his muscular shoulders. "Tequila ain't his real name and he calls me Azzy, or something... People call each other different things based on their relationships with them." he added. "World's a funny place but it's easier if you just go with it"
There was a bit of a pause before Castiel spoke again. Azrael wasn't entirely sure if Castiel was always like this or not but judging from what he could see in his essence, in his being, he was clearly not always this way. Castiel, as far as he knew, was not the Angel of Sorrow or Sadness, nor was he the Angel of Nothing.
"Shelters sounds like a pretty good idea. Give 'em somewhere warm to sleep, maybe add a bit where you can put food for them. Maybe some kinda charity donation bucket or something so people can contribute if they want to making sure the animals are looked after?" he suggested.
Living charity wasn't exactly Azrael's strength. But listening to people? That's what he was always good at. Giving comfort to people, especially those who had died or those who had been close to death in some manner or other, from those who had nearly died to the people who mourned for their lost loves.
"Something's weighing on you..." Azrael said, cutting to the point. "It's more than just weighing down on the soul, so to speak. It's something in your very being. I can see it, I can feel it from you. So what's going on with you, Cas? Talk to me. Brother to brother" he offered, hoping he could get the other Angel to speak. There was genuine care in his eyes as he watched Castiel closely.
He reached a hand down to pet one of the cats as it brushed by his leg. The small grey and white creature looked up at Castiel and mewed, stretching up towards him, claws sunk into the wooden bench.
