At the invitation, Natasha stepped in and shut the door behind her, taking the few seconds he was out of the room to study it herself. The chemistry equipment was no doubt one of the more interesting aspects of what she could see, and she made a mental note to tap him for that particular purpose, if she needed it. As he returned, Natasha sat on one of the offered chairs and took the coffee with a smile of her own. "It is, thank you - though I have no problem drinking tea, if it's all that's available," and if it suited whatever persona she was in at the time.
Her voice was a little husky, but held no discernible accent; in point of fact, she could easily take on any accent she chose, or switch to one of the several languages she'd been trained in at any time. Lifting her mug for a sip of the coffee, she gave him a small smile of her own as he rattled off what he'd observed so far. If he expected her to be surprised or uncomfortable, he was surely in for a surprise of his own, as her face betrayed nothing of her thoughts on the matter. Having been loosely familiar with his literary counterpart, the moment she'd noticed his name on the network, she had done a little digging of her own, and unearthed a few of the conversations he'd had the last time he was in Preya, as well as what she could find on him in general. Having the confirmation of his observational skills was a pleasant bonus of this meeting, and it helped to firm up her own thoughts on the matter.
Pulling her cell phone out of a jacket pocket, she held it up to him, screen first, as she pressed the button to turn it off, then put it away again. "I don't have anything else on me that could record a conversation," she told him, and smiled again as he went on to ask regarding her reasons for being there. "To put it simply, I've done my homework, Mr. Holmes. I mentioned the task force I run to you - it's comprised of individual with skills outside the realm of normalcy, and you have plenty of those. I like to have a wide variety of resources available so that we're ready for whatever case may come our way. Bureaucracy doesn't get in the way, as I mentioned yesterday."
Natasha took another sip of the coffee, then set the mug down and reached into a different pocket. This time, she pulled out a small thumb drive and held it up. "You've already heard, no doubt, about the various 'unexplained' disappearances that occur semi-regularly here. This is one of the ongoing cases we're investigating. On here is information regarding those who have come and left, including those who have returned again. It seems that anytime someone does, they have no memory of their previous time in Preya. I think you'll find a few names you recognize, when you open the files." Because it was a foregone conclusion that he'd be interested enough to at lest check them.
There was more to say, of course, but given his general appearance, she wanted to give him a moment to think things over, and waited patiently for a response.
