There had been a very brief point where Dani nearly pointed out that for a face to face collision to occur she was just as at fault… But she quickly stopped such a retort because she really wanted the iced coffee and to go to the park. If she got those, well, maybe she'd mention it after. There was a bigger chance though that she'd not say anything and just let him come to that conclusion on his own without her assistance. After all, it was more amusing for Dani if she just let him go on thinking it was his fault.
"Oh. Good. I'm sure there has to be a place around here that has some." She had no clue where, but what sort of place didn't have a Starbucks or some other coffee joint on every corner? "I do have to admit it isn't everyday that a boy goes and pins me down." And she meant that in every way it could be taken.
She shook the offered hand, letting her eyes trail over him. Her mind was already working out how she'd sketch him… Whether she'd use pen or charcoal… Or maybe she'd do him in watercolors… There were so many possibilities. Now probably wasn't the best time to be thinking about that though or she was liable to forget all about the fact she was going to get a free iced coffee out of this deal and just drag him off somewhere, push him into a seat and tell him to hold still…
"Names Dani. I just got into town myself on Friday." And she was hoping she remembered how to get back to her hotel after this. "I've got a brother here somewhere." Maybe after this she'd go looking for his place...
