Austin had just left his cousin after learning the name of the girl he'd noticed. He didn't know what it was about her but ever since his eyes had fallen on her, she was a constant presense in his mind. He had noticed how the name had not brought out the best reaction in Kyle and so he had let the subject drop. Kyle finished showing him around. At least to all the places that mattered, and now Austin was on his own. He thought about going home to see if Dallas wanted to go eat somewhere but something kept him walking the streets. Deep down he knew it was his hope that he would see her again, but he didn't really want to admit something like this to himself.
Austin was lost in these thoughts when suddenly he hit solid mass. That solid mass was clutching on him and before he realized what was going on, before he could stablize himself and this... girl?, they were going down.
He caught himself on his hands and was greatful the fall hadn't been too bad. He looked down and blushed to find himself pretty much pinning a girl who looked to be around his age down.
"Oh, shit," he said. "Sorry!" And yet he was still on her. He tried to get up, tangled in her bag and limbs. He finally managed and offered her his hand. Once she was up, he bit his lip.
"I am so sorry, dude! I was lost in my thoughts and was not paying attention. Are you hurt? Do you need the doctor? Can I get you anything?"
He brought a hand to slide his fingers through his hair. "I'm like really, really sorry."
